"Drop-in" batteries or DIY assembled cells?

I will have to replace an AGM battery bank on a catamaran, with a Lithium bank. My customer already understand the precautions to be taken in relation to lithium. He would opt more for batteries already assembled. He looked at the Powertech brand. At first sight a BMS is systematically incorporated. To have more functionalities, do you have the possibility of bypassing the included bms and of managing the park by your BMS. whether from Powertech or another brand of course.
